Every time I see you post I fall a little more in love! My first impression was, "Why is she even wearing foundation? she does not need it and her skin is flawless and I hate her" but then I saw the after picture and you looked actually *actually* flawless and i was like "fine, but I still hate her." ...I'm going to go pick this foundation up now.

In my endless pursuit of the perfect drugstore foundation, I decided to pick up the Maybelline Fit Me Matte + Poreless liquid foundation! Let me say, I was pleasantly surprised! The foundation did a great job of covering my acne scars and discoloration around my nose, and (my favorite part) it kept my regularly oily/combo skin pretty much shine free for about 8 hours. I'm not quite ready to give up my Double Wear Foundation just yet, but with comparable results and a fourth of the price, this bad boy is making its way into my regular foundation rotation!

EDIT: So after reading all your replies on the way to work this morning I stopped by CVS and picked up the Maybelline Master Prime green primer, the Maybelline Fit Me! Matte + Poreless in Sun Beige (I lowkey dabbed a little in store, turns out I'm lighter than I thought I was) and a foundation brush. I applied it all in my work bathroom before any one got to work and it is a HUGE improvement over the mess I've had on my face the past two weeks. I'm positive my technique needs work, but I feel much better today!

Ahh I'm so jealous of your American prices. I have the Maybelline Fit Me foundation stick and I love it. It cost me about $21 which I was pretty happy with. It has a really wonderful smooth texture that feels almost powdery on my fingers but slightly oiler on my face than I prefer. However I have dry to normal skin. Topping it with a powder works well for me.

I apply Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless foundation with flat-top foundation brush. I usually purchase a cheap set of brushes from Amazon and it works well for me. I used to pack on the foundation because I do love everything to look flawless, but it seems to make everything more oily and cakey! So now I just apply a small amount and it wears better throughout the day.
