Editorial Summary: True Match is a solid fave for a drugstore foundation. Shade range rocks, formula feels light and blends like a dream. But heads up, it might not last all day and can get cakey or oxidize on some. If you nail your shade, it’s a winner though.

I'm probably late to the party but oh my— the L'Oreal True Match foundation in N1 is the perfect shade and formula for me. I usually use Nyx Bare With Me concealer "Vanilla" and still had to mix a little bit of green and blue with it because it was too yellow. This formula gives me a skin-like finish, doesn't feel heavy nor cakey, and the color disappears on my arm and face !!! I'm so happy, my base routine now is super easy and consistent.
It looks like a perfect match to me
I liked the effect and it eliminated the pore-problem, my only complaint is that it wears off SO QUICKLY.
Most of my makeup is drugstore stuff like Maybelline fit me (I've used matte and dewy), Loreal true match, which I heard so many good things about, etc. None look natural and quite frankly, I feel self-conscious about wearing a foundation designed for older people.
I think True Match is one of the best drugstore foundations out there. It is lightweight (it's almost watery in consistency) and is really does blend into the skin well with medium coverage. It's also pretty hydrating and feels like a skincare hybrid.
Looks like the perfect shade - can you blend it out a bit on one side of your face and share a side by side pic in good sunlight? I bet it'll be perfect. It took me a long time to realize I needed more yellow in my make up. Trust me, after you blend that out and see yourself in sunlight you'll see it matches way better than you think right now :)
I have combination skin and I use Loreal true match foundation but I feel like it's too heavy for everyday wear.
I used to use this powder foundation too! It was great because I used to have awful acne and it didn't break me out or irritate my skin.
RUNNER UPS: L'Oreal Paris True Match Nude Hyaluronic Tinted Serum (I’m skeptical of the serum bottle because serums aren’t supposed to touch your face because it’s unhygienic🤔…) and the L'Oreal Paris True Match Super-Blendable Foundation (I heard it’s good for older skin so I don’t know how that’ll be on my teen skin)
I've been using Loreal True Match Naturale Mineral foundation powder in soft ivory (456) for the better part of 20 years now. It's the only all-in-one solution I've found that has high coverage (acne and scars), works with my oily skin, doesn't rub off if I touch my face, doesn't smell, matches my skin tone, doesn't oxidize, and doesn't make my skin sunburn, sting, or break out.
