So I’m almost done with my first bottle of Medik8’s Liquid Peptides Advanced MP and I…can’t tell any difference? For reference, I’m 35, fair skinned but not particularly burn-prone. Here’s what I have noticed: • It’s a gel like consistency but is somewhat sticky and thick to apply. It feels like it dries down quickly. This makes it hard to feel like you’re getting an even distribution all over your face, and in order to spread it around I often feel like I’m tugging on my skin to move it. • If your skin is sensitized at all (like mine is from upping my tret dosage), it often stings for a second when going on. Not sure why this is. • 2 pumps is enough-ish for my face but not for the neck as well. They recommend using it twice daily, which means you run out pretty quick, which is understandable but it isn’t super cheap so if the above issues with consistency were better, maybe I could use less and feel better about it. Overall, I don’t think I’ve noticed a difference. Maybe this is also because I’m going longer between my Botox sessions and I’m just naturally seeing more fine lines and wrinkling in general but I am still on the fence on whether or not to repurchase. I’m not sure how long to wait for results. They do say it is supposed to deliver immediate results and longer term ones with consistent use. Maybe it’s too soon to say. I’d love to hear if anyone else has tried it and what they think!

Wow I had the opposite experience. I have really noticed a difference since stepping up from their regular peptides. I’m able to get one pump to cover my face and neck (but I use an essence first, so maybe it spreads better?). I’ve definitely noticed an improvement with both fine lines and deep wrinkles, which is going to keep me coming back to it even with the stinging/spicy sensation. I think you hit something with the Botox though-if you’re used to seeing little to no movement or wrinkling, and then it starts coming through because you’re getting Botox less frequently, it would be hard to tell if the serum is working because you’ve introduced a new variable.

I feel like peptides are a “long game” thing. Longer than the time it takes to get through a single bottle. But I’m not an expert, I could be wrong

The delivery method is much better since it's not a dropper, but that's about it.

I love the Medik8 retinal products but wasnt terribly impressed with the advanced liquid peptides. The P-Tiox I felt gave me more glassy skin and will reorder.

I’ve used it consistently for almost 3 months and have noticed no difference. I know there’s a lot of hype about Medik8 products, but they just don’t seem to work for me (and yes I use consistently :) ).

I’ve used Medik8 Liquid Peptides, and tried a sample of the AoS GF serum. I’m also currently using the Educated Mess Freeze Frame, so I’ll drop a review on that too! Liquid Peptides was a nice thick formula, definitely very hydrating — it’d be too much for my oily skin in the AM, but it was perfect in the PM. They also have a Liquid Peptides Advanced — looking at the INCI list, it’s effectively an upgraded up version of the original, so if you have the cash, I’d try that. It’s included in the SpaceNK advent calendar, which, unless the Cult Beauty wins out, I’ll be grabbing 👀

I use both too but in the same routine day and night and will continue to use both. I’ve noticed the Advanced MP help more with fine lines but I keep P-Tiox in rotation because it gives me an amazing glow and because it also has PHA and niacinamide (so two birds with one stone situation for me).
