After months of research, and mixing multiple colours (yellow and green concealer...) to get the right formulation, I tried Lisa Eldridge's Seamless Skin Foundation, and not only it gives me a flawless and light coverage, but it's also a perfect match for us light medium olives out there (who are more warm toned).

I got a sample and tested it today. It is very lightweight (hence “Seamless”) and super buildable. I would say it’s medium coverage. It’s the first foundation to not settle around my nose. I deep cleaned my house today while wearing it and it held up until the bitter end. Can’t wait to purchase it!

Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Foundation: summer shade match is 11, winter shade match is 9. If I could only own one foundation for the rest of my life, this would be it. Medium coverage, self-setting and on the matte side of a natural finish. Looks more glowy/radiant over time on my skin and powders down well. Doesn't cling to dry patches. It's my favourite event foundation as it is just so reliable, no matter what the weather. Rain or high humidity, this lasts incredibly well. I can't recommend it enough - just make sure to shade match yourself with Lisa's foundation shade sample cards first! The only downside is the price ($70+), and you can only purchase it from selected UK stores like Selfridges, Liberty's, or Lisa's own international website.

I have Lisa Eldridge Seamless Skin Enhancing Tint (T3) with a bit of the Huda Beauty Faux Filter Concealer (Yogurt Drop) and setting them with a thin veil of MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation (NC15). I have never received so many compliments on my skin before!

I bought this in store yesterday. She has a pop up in Covent Garden. I was shade matched to 7, which I have to say is perfect. You cannot see it. It’s defo a satin finish. I usually prefer a dewy finish, but I have combo skin and can look a bit slick at times, so this has a nice skin-like look and you cannot feel it. I’ve worn it today and so far still looking great (applied at 10am, now 3pm). No concealer, just built up where needed. Gonna keep wearing, but first impressions are good! If you can, do go to the pop up, the team are v welcoming and knowledgeable and it’s worth it just to look at all the vintage make up. Edit: it’s 19:30 now and it still looks great. Not gathering around my nose or settling into fine lines.

The foundation is gorgeous. It's only visible on the skin close up, the finish is natural, and it lasted well even in my oily areas. The best part is how makeup sits on top of it. My blush has never looked so natural. The sample cards only cost $3 with free shipping, and at this price it's worth getting a match before buying. Hopefully she restocks this more often than the lipsticks. TLDR - the foundation goes on sale at 12 EDT/9 PDT. YMMV in Arizona, Hawaii, overseas territories, and certain Indiana counties. And the foundation is fantastic.

I use both! I love them both :) I also use the LE skin tint that’s I wear on most days. Armani sells a mini size so maybe try that first before you invest in either full size bottle. From Lisa you can order the test cards to find your foundation shade and just test out how it wears on your skin. They’re both great, so I think it will just come down to personal preference. Test them before you invest in either though. They’re pricy.
